Handmade spectacles by Jack.
A Ransome frame has character. You might see a remnant of my workings, or one side might be an ounce thicker than the other, but that only adds to the charm! Each frame is designed from scratch to your measurements and your style and made using original tools and a good old bit of elbow grease. The sides are hand stamped with 'your name, from Jack'.

You’ll pick your favourite Italian acetate. Bravissimo!
I’ll sketch a design and make a template.
You’ll approve the design.
I’ll get crackin’.
Transfer shape to acetate.
Cut out the eye holes and the sides.
Then onto the main frame. Time to get serious.
Cut it, file it, sand it, sand it some more, polish it.
Rivets in. Hinges on. Then off to the lab for .
The specs are born.
